Charter Bank Elects Paul F. Goblet to its Board of Directors
Albuquerque, N.M. (03/07/06) Charter Bank today announced that Paul F. Goblet has been elected to its Board of Directors. "I am pleased to have Paul join our Board as we position Charter as a premier provider of financial services," said Robert Wertheim, Charter's Chairman of the Board. "His exceptional financial experience, analytic skills and community support will be a tremendous asset in helping us successfully compete and grow our business."
Mr. Goblet currently is the financial advisor to the New Mexico Small Business Investment Corporation, and he helped craft expanded legislation that broadened the organization's abilities to conduct investment. Since his arrival in New Mexico in 1999, Mr. Goblet has been heavily involved in the Venture Capital Community and was appointed by Gov. Johnson to the Private Equity Advisor Committee of the State Investment Council.
For more than 30 years, Mr. Goblet has been associated with various investment banking organizations, including Banc One Capital Corporation and Blunt, Ellis & Loewi. He has managed the syndication and public offerings of both equity and debt issuance and has been actively involved in the retail and institutional placement and the trading of these initial public offerings.
Mr. Goblet is the past Board President of Santa Fe Habitat for Humanity and is a current Board Member of the Rotary Club of Santa Fe.
