Charter Mortgage Placitas Office Appoints Loan Officer
Albuquerque, N.M. (09/27/06) - Charter Mortgage has appointed Len Seward as the new loan officer in their Placitas, NM residential loan production office at 01 Ridge Court, Placitas (505-867-7465). Mr. Seward will be providing professional residential mortgage lending expertise and personal customer service to Placitas residents and residents of surrounding communities, including Bernalillo.
Mr. Seward joined Charter Bank as a loan officer for the Charter Mortgage Home Finance Center in Albuquerque in 2005. He has over 25 years experience in lending and banking. Most recently, he was assistant vice president, residential mortgage lending specialist for Lafayette Bank and Trust, in Lafayette, Indiana; vice president for Credit Union Mortgage Service, Albuquerque, New Mexico and assistant vice president, United New Mexico Bank, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Seward is a graduate of School of Mortgage Banking, Mortgage Bankers Association at Northwestern University and a graduate of the American Institute of Banking. He is a past president of the New Mexico Mortgage Bankers Association and has held leadership positions in Business Network International, Lafayette Board of Realtors, Affordable Housing Foundation of New Mexico and Neighborhood Housing Services.
